Lovely campsite with lush grass. We cancelled due to bad weather and they we kind enough to let us rebook at the end of the year. We had the campsite to ourselves. Will come back next year hopefully.

Yes this campsite is out the way of local amenities but it is a campsite where you can cut yourself off from others, indulge in the true nature of camping and be surrounded by the beautiful Devon countryside. The price is extremely good considering the facilities. The field is more than adequate considering how stringent councils can be to create such campsites. Michelle, the owner and her partner are a true reflection of Devon locals, hospitable, welcoming and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Highly recommended for those who like to be out there and cut off from the rest ;-)

Loved my stay here. Ideal as a base for walking the SW Coast path around Hartland and the surrounding vicinity.Michelle, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful host and couldn't have done more to make me more comfortable. The campsite is ideal for walkers or those who like the outdoors. There are a sufficient number of loos, showers and dish washing facilities for the number of guests accommodated. Everything works well and is cleaned and restocked regularly. The showers have a decent pressure and are set at a perfect temperature. And joy, there are 2 x double door hooks in each loo and shower cubicle to keep your clothes off the floor. It's the simple things that make the difference! The covered area provided for washing dishes has a freezer which is great for re-chilling cool blocks for cold boxes. There is also a 2 person plastic seat provided here which is ideal if an escape from inclement weather is desired and the tent is getting a little claustrophobic. There's great and speedy 4G mobile coverage as a mast is located in the adjacent field.I spent 5 very comfortable and chilled out nights here and plan on returning soon with my wife to stay here and show her the wonderful sights around Hartland.Fabulous.

Lovely place and lovely owners! We were a group of 9 coming from different parts of the UK, we were welcomed very well upon arrival, showed us around, let us see their baby cows, answered all our questions about where to eat, to go, how to get there. Very spacious and very clean and tidy toilets. If you're looking to spend some quiet and relaxing time, look at the stars at night, and be surrounded by anything but nature, this is it. 100% recommend.
