Welcome to Springfield Cottage, a spacious and inviting getaway situated at the heart of Bideford. Arranged over three floors, this delightful holiday cottage offers stunning views of the River Torridge.
It provides an ideal base for a family of four or a romantic escape for a couple looking for an active retreat. The property is close to the Tarka Trail as well as numerous other attractions, including the golden sandy beaches of Instow and Westward Ho, all only a short drive away.
Steep steps lead down to the entrance, and once inside you’ll find a cosy, galley-style kitchen, equipped with a range of modern appliances. There’s also a master king-size bedroom on the ground floor that boasts river views, plus a twin room on the lower-ground-floor, paired with the bathroom complete with an endless supply of hot water from the combi boiler. On the top floor lies the open-plan living/dining space furnished with comfortable sofas and a dining table, perfect for cosy evenings in front of the electric woodburning effect stove.
Outside you’ll be able to make use of the sitting area and admire the scenic views as you enjoy a hearty breakfast, or join the nearby South West coast path or Tarka Trail for some wonderful walks. The town of Bideford also provides plenty of attractions like the Pannier Market, Bideford Railway Heritage Centre, The Burton Art Gallery and Museum and a variety of shops.
