The Cart Linhay is a beautiful single storey cottage situated on a 130 acre working sheep farm on the side of a valley two miles from Bideford. It was converted from one of four barns, providing an inviting and comfortable home for families.

Guest will enter the cottage through two steps int the sitting room, with TV, sofa and dining table, from which the enclosed garden with valley views is accessible. The kitchen is well equipped, while the two bedrooms share the family bathroom. There is also a shared seasonal outdoor pool with a paddling pool attached, solar heated and accessible via the terrace to the rear of the cottage.

Beyond the property is a playground reminiscent of an old orchard, while there are paddocks to explore throughout the traditional working farm. Guests have access to the car-free Tarka Trail nearby, as well as boat trips to Lundy Island. Bideford, the old town, is nearby, with its interesting pannier market, heritage railway and Torridge estuary for bird watching. Further away, Westward Ho! beach for surfing and Saunton/Woolacombe for excellent beach experiences are both accessible.
