Well worth including on visits to Clovelly. Walled gardens cultivated fruit and vegetables plus lovely bee and butterfly attracting flower borders. The grape vines looked diseased which was a pity but the other greenhouse plants were thriving – including oranges and figs? The church was open and full of Clovelly history all around. A six bell very thick walled tower with impressive stained glass window just one outstanding feature. The full and huge graveyards are testament to lives lost at sea as well as wars and usual causes. The family house is interesting too with turrets to the corners and grey tiles to the rear wall. Great views over the coast and surrounding fields. The carpenter workshop is open to see wood turning and finishing. Great products to buy and admire the skills plus wonder at the beautiful local wood being used. Great visit.

Small garden, probably better later in the year, I went on a cloudy April day. Nice walled garden with some lovely grassed areas outside. Looked like there was a pleasant walking path as well, though I didn't follow it far.

Clovelly gardens and fishing village are a must see for everyone. Fantastic is the only word that describes this place

Beautiful gardens, well managed. Great little stop off on our walk out. Tea etc available, honesty box for the self service refreshments and entrance fee.

Lovely example of a working Victorian walled garden complete with greenhouses. The gardeners were friendly and happy to chat about gardening while they worked. So many fruit trees! A great walk from Clovelly
