We’ve been for a number of years and the line ups have been brilliant but 2023 was really awful. Dizzy Rascal was NOT a choice for a family friendly festival (convicted of assault on his partner). Also a few acts pulled out – including two headliners, which can’t be helped but very frustrating when you’ve bought weekend tickets! Festival really needs to up their game for 2024

Ideal if you're 15 with no real taste in music. Not allowed to even take water onto the festival site. Drinks extortionate, ridiculously laid out site,all the toilets at one end and rarely cleaned,loads of drunk teenagers and £8 for a handful of chips. Left early and wasn't allowed to even enter the Ruda site to buy a bottle of squash for our son unless we were staying there. Music lineup is 90% awful (my opinion obviously). Only upside is the fact its only 2 miles from home. If you live further a field I urge you to think twice. Been a festival goer for decades and without doubt this is the worst I've ever attended ( Trenchfoot at Glastonbury '98 was more fun).

Great value for money, great acts, great music for all ages over the whole weekend. Family friendly. Cant recommend it highly enough even if its your first Festival, Its extremely safe for Teenagers, kids & us old folks. Love love love it.

Great festival in a beautiful setting. Always a huge range of ages – suitable for families. Queues for toilets and the bar aren't usually too bad. Fairly small but has a good choice of food and craft stalls, fairground rides and 1 main stage.
