Food that makes you smileI can honestly say that this has been the best Pub food experience I have had for many years.If you want simple, honest, comforting pub food then the Kings Arms is the place to go Staff are welcoming and polite and you are greeted with a smile. This is a very busy , vibrant pub and I would recommend booked to ensure you get a table, we rocked up about 7.10 on a Sunday evening and where very lucky to get the last table availableWe had a Cod Burger and Ham egg and chips, I hope the photos do it justice, both were very generous in size and of the highest quality and taste. Proper real chips cooked to perfection, the cod portion about 2”thick flakey and moist. Ham was about 1cm thick and 2 large slices, all with fantastic flavour.Excellent value for money

Great food. If the sun's out go round the back through the arch and it's like a secret garden, really peaceful with a playground for the kids.

We've been here many times. The food and the service are brilliant. The portions are huge and the menu is chosen with care and attention using local produce. The landlord and team are so, so kind and caring and aren't ever phased by accomodating huge groups. Thank you Sam for being brilliant!

Lovely little pub, family friendly, outstanding service as the person who served us went above and beyond to deal with a complex order for the kids. Simple but good pub food. And they have Rascal cider!
