Food that makes you smileI can honestly say that this has been the best Pub food experience I have had for many years.If you want simple, honest, comforting pub food then the Kings Arms is the place to go Staff are welcoming and polite and you are greeted with a smile. This is a very busy , vibrant pub and I would recommend booked to ensure you get a table, we rocked up about 7.10 on a Sunday evening and where very lucky to get the last table availableWe had a Cod Burger and Ham egg and chips, I hope the photos do it justice, both were very generous in size and of the highest quality and taste. Proper real chips cooked to perfection, the cod portion about 2”thick flakey and moist. Ham was about 1cm thick and 2 large slices, all with fantastic flavour.Excellent value for money

We were staying locally and when the fish and chips shop was unexpectedly closed The Kings Arms were brilliant and did fish and chips to take away, despite being fully booked for dinner. We went again for meal in a couple of days later and the food and service were excellent. Would definitely recommend and we will visit again if we're in the area!

Great food (perhaps a tad too much cheese on the pizza – it was LADEN), incredible chips, lovely people. Really nice views out the back. Well priced.

The food was OK, the staff were very busy when we came due to a large party that was in. Food was still served in good time. I had the cod burger which was lovely.
