Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay at The garden cottage. Beds so comfortable, good swimming pool, my sister and I used most afternoons . Hot tub. Peaceful place, loved waking up to a field of gorgeous sheep. Excellent.

Had a week here very recently, and I can honestly say it was one of the best cottages I've stayed in. We stayed in the cottage rather than the farm. It's away from the rest of the accommodation, totally private except for the sheep, hehe. Garden totally enclosed, literally didn't have to worry about the dog at all. However, if your dog isn't sheep friendly, you may have an issue. It's a wire fence with full visibility of the sheep! The hot tub was amazing, though it lost water over the week 🤷‍♀️ and the lighting in the front garden didn't seem to work.. The kitchen is kinda fully equipped, no kitchen scissors, though. We took our own sharp knives and the Ninja 😂. Beds were ok, but I regretted forgetting my own pillow (bit fussy with pillows), but that's just me!The location is perfect, less than 5 mins to Tesco, but far enough away that you feel you're in the middle of nowhere. Lots of accessible beaches, with Westward Ho!, being only 15 mins away. Bideford is a lovely little town for a wander, even got charity shops! Lots of dog friendly places, too.

Even though we went slightly out of season, the cottage stay was excellent, comfortable, warm, well equipped in every way with emphasis on 'every'. Ample space . Good car park space. Supermarket very close by too. We felt safe and secure. Views were great and the feeling of being 'on a farm' was great for kids too. Farmer and team were great, accommodating our needs . It is difficult to find any negative point to add.

Stayed here several times before but this year the cottage has had a revamp. Very impressed so far, it's great, a big improvement. Now visited twice since the revamp March & June). LOVE the hot tub and private patio. Everything was as clean, neat and tidy as always. Garden Richard the owner is a lovely chap. Thr only very minor niggle is that the sloped gravel driveway can be difficult to get traction to reverse at one corner, but we got used to turning in the middle and worked around that.
It was our first time at the farm wonderful to be right in the middle of it sheep all around great, wonderful views very relaxing. The accommodation is lovely and it's very cosy and warm and a super comfortable bed. Would definitely return.
