We had 11 nights here and it was our 1st time in Umberleigh. The site is fairly small and very quiet, which was exactly what we needed to rest and chill. The upkeep is excellent with the grass and hedges being kept in trim and the pitch sizes are more than enough for a large caravan and full awning. It is definitely worth a visit and I expect we will re visit at some point.

A beautiful, peaceful campsite with spotless facilities. However, I was disappointed that although the dog walk was excellent, dogs are not allowed off lead. As someone who does a lot of walking there are no footpaths close by & it seems unfair that a large area is kept for children to play, but dogs can't run free.

After breaking down upon arrival, the Site Managers were absolutely amazing, so very helpful and accommodating, they went totally out of their way to make sure we could continue with our holiday. Throughout our week they continued to work hard to ensure the site was kept in tip top condition! The site itself is fabulous, with everything you need for a peaceful holiday. The site had all types of units with families/couples etc and it was such a friendly place to be. I holidayed with my daughter for the week and we felt totally safe and secure and couldn't have asked for more. The site is so well managed, well kept and perfectly clean. Thank you to the site managers for making our stay such a lovely one! I'm bringing my husband with me next time too! 🤣

Staff are helpful and polite. It's got a games room, tennis courts and pond for fishing, a field for football with nets. It's a very relaxing place and everyone has been very respectful of others. My children have enjoyed it and we went to the yearly Village fate, with a dog and garden show, and also had a few day trips to the coast. There's a train that runs to Exeter that's a 15 minute's walk away. We've all been able to have a great nights sleep. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing holiday.
