We pitch our tent for one night in the meadow on our recent Lands End to John O’Groats cycle trip and this was one of our favourite experiences of the whole ride. We had only just rediscovered camping but the great location and the relaxed and informal hospitality and the free spirit of everyone on site really rekindled our love of the outdoors. Thank you Faith and family for giving us the memories and we would love to come back and see you soon

I stayed in "The Writer's Hut" with my five-year-old, and we both absolutely loved it. I love the peacefulness and the beauty of the place: It feels so far away from the busy world. All we could hear was birdsong and the steady trickle from the brook. My five-year-old thought it was the best adventure ever: With so much beautiful nature to explore, her magical imagination just ran wild. This place is good for the soul.

Lovely relaxing stay, so chilled and just to take in the scenery was fantastic, so nice, just to sit under the trees and read, so peaceful. At night seeing the stars and a couple of shooting stars while drinking a glass of wine, who needs anything more, Faith was helpful and friendly and the bar was awesome. The lakes are lovely just to sit around and watch the fish,. We both did the cycle routes which followed the old train routes in the area, We will certainly be going back in the future. Ian x mimi
