Can't say it enough. Great value for money. Love this place, great pitches ( purple is best 😉) washing up and shower/toilet facilities are spotlessly clean and well maintained, showers awesome hot whenever you go. Central location in remote rural area close to many attractions and nearby pub. Lola the sites dog is great if she excepts you to pat her otherwise she's gone. My kids loved her. Phone USB charger in washing up area. Hire a fire pit on site is good choice and only £5, pitches are remote from eachother and a more your own space. No light pollution so star out night in good weather. No electrical hookup, no vehicles on pitch field(camping tents only and fleet of wheelbarrows to get your gear to pitch avaliable from your pitch allocated parking spot on site) All of which I personally class as a plus as we are campers and it does the family good to be without tech for an outdoorsy holiday. Can't wait to come stay again and coffee avaliable in welcome trailer at site enterance. Visits to do around area within 30 min drive radius………but loads other stuff as well. Baggy Point for a sunset Exmore Zoo Tintagel Boscastle Bude Bideford Barnstaple Burton Burrows (sand dunes 3rd biggest in country) Tarka Trail great for walkers/Ramblers or could hire mountain bikes at Torrington old station on the trail 5miles from camp site. Bit further north and you got Woolacombe etc Great place highly recommended by us. See you all again soon Mark, Marshall&Roxanne

Awesome campsite. Hosts are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Facilities were great! Toilets, showers, washing up areas, all well above what others campsites I've stayed at offer, and brand new. Coffee was lovely. Would love to try and get back later in the season!

Nice basic and quite campsite. Just a field and a barn with toilets, showers and washing up facilities. The family that runs it are really friendly, and they are actively asking for guest feedback, working to improve the site and add extra facilities. The coffee they sell is good too.

We stayed here while bike touring with our 2 year old the guys who run this place are fab and the campsite is lovely warm big showers. Phone charging and of course fresh takeaway coffee at the gate would 100% stay here again!

A family-run, rustic yet charming, pop-up site that my daughters (11, 13) and myself greatly enjoyed staying at. Everything really was perfect; from the ease of booking and eventual checking-in/settling up through to, best of all, the downright, genuine friendliness of everyone we dealt with – really pleasant and helpful, wonderful people! As to the actual site; vehicles are parked seperately from the actual camping area which is, I'm guessing, about an acre in size with standpipes in-situ. The showers are fantastic and in the "amenities area" immediately adjacent, there are phone and other charging points, mirrors, and a menu board! The latter provides weather info and suchlike, together with offering firepits and wood for burning at extremely reasonable rates. A converted horsebox acts as a cafe-cum-reception area and, in truth, for a simple, rustic camping experience (bereft of club-houses, demarcated pitches, and other nonsense) I cannot recommend highly enough.
